Description

CFC-Flor is a high-potency oral solution containing Florfenicol 20% ($200\text{ mg/ml}$). Florfenicol is a synthetic fluorinated analogue of thiamphenicol with broad-spectrum activity against both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria as well as Mycoplasma species. It acts by binding to the 50S ribosomal subunit of bacteria to inhibit protein synthesis, providing fast and reliable treatment for livestock and poultry diseases.

Active Ingredient:

Dosage & Administration:

  • Poultry: $1\text{ ml}$ per $2-3\text{ liters}$ of drinking water ($20-30\text{ mg/kg}$ body weight) daily for 3 to 5 consecutive days.

  • Swine & Calves: $1\text{ ml}$ per $10-20\text{ kg}$ body weight daily in drinking water for 3 to 5 days.

  • Instructions: Mix thoroughly with fresh drinking water daily. Medicated drinking water should be used within 24 hours. Administer under the direction of a registered veterinarian.

Precautions & Warnings:

  • Contraindications: Do not use in animals with known hypersensitivity to Florfenicol. Not recommended for use during pregnancy or in breeding animals.

  • Egg Safety: Do not use in commercial laying hens producing eggs for human consumption.

  • Withdrawal Period: Poultry meat – 5 to 7 days; Pigs – 20 days.
